Performing Arts Marketing — Digital Media Internship

Company: Rosebrook Classical
Hourly Rate: $20/hour
Hours: 10-15 hours/week (More hours optional during the summer)
Location: Remote with regular meetings and check-ins in Fort Worth, TX

This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital media marketing within the performing arts industry. Interns will work closely with our team and organization clients to develop and execute marketing initiatives, gaining valuable skills in arts marketing, social media management, and digital advertising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop skills in working with performing arts organizations of various sizes.
  • Learn the fundamentals of performing arts and concert marketing development.
  • Assist in creating and scheduling approved social media content for both the company and its clients.
  • Engage in direct arts projects aligned with personal interests to develop specific skills.
  • Support email marketing initiatives by crafting and managing digital campaigns.
  • Gain experience in budget allocation for web marketing and digital advertising.

Qualifications

  • Experience creating social media content in a professional or organizational setting.
  • Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity Suite, etc).
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and digital tools.
  • Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheet management.
  • Enrollment in a music degree program (or the Arts Leadership & Entrepreneurship
  • program).
  • Experience with web and mobile applications/software.
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Interest in working with performing arts organizations.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Access to a working computer and smartphone.
